Our team: Serafín, the person responsible for keeping our fleet always ready
Behind every departure between Lanzarote, La Graciosa or Fuerteventura, there is a constant effort that often goes unnoticed by the passenger, but is essential for everything to run safely and precisely.

Today we want to introduce you to Serafín, Head of Maintenance for the Líneas Romero fleet, one of those indispensable people who make it possible for every boat to always be ready to sail.
Those who work alongside Serafín sum it up simply: 'without him we are nobody'.
Because beyond the technical part, his work involves constant coordination, supervision, and responsiveness so that all operations run every day without interruptions.
While the boats carry out their daily routes between islands, Serafín coordinates a fundamental technical and organizational task for the proper functioning of the entire fleet.
A job that requires constant attention and an enormous capacity for anticipation. Because at sea, every detail counts.
The Líneas Romero fleet currently consists of 11 vessels, including catamarans and monohull ferries, built at Astilleros Gondán, specialists in fast passenger vessels for inter-island navigation.
Each boat has been specifically designed to operate in the eastern Canary archipelago, combining comfort, safety, and efficiency.
The company also periodically renews its fleet to continue improving the onboard experience and reduce environmental impact, in line with its sustainable commitment and its Biosphere Committed certification.
One of the most important moments of the year for the technical department are the annual dry dockings, maintenance checks that at Líneas Romero are organized up to six months in advance.

The true engine of every journey will always be its human team.
